A TV Show To Watch for Inspiring Entrepreneurs

Shark Tank, found on ABC, is a television show that is a must-watch for all aspiring business owners. Each episode, several entrepreneurs pitch their business or product idea to a panel of ‘Sharks,’ a group of successful men and women who are looking for new ventures to invest in. If a member of the panel thinks that the entrepreneur’s idea will be lucrative, they invest a large amount of money into their business. This season, $6.2 million dollars of investments are up for grabs. Ideas pitched vary, but one of the successful pitches from Season 3 was Talbott Teas, a luxury tea business. With an investment from the sharks, this company became very profitable. They recently sold their Shark Tankcompany to Jamba Juice for millions of dollars. Most of the inspiring entrepreneurs who appear on the show live normal lives, with children and day jobs. Shark Tank truly is inspiring entrepreneurs to take a chance, and many peoples’ lives have been changed because of it.

This season, there are six investors looking for the next successful business idea. These ‘sharks’ include, Mark Cuban, owner of HDNet whose business is valued at $2.5 billion, Lori Greiner, inventor who holds 110 patents for various successful products, and Barbara Corcoran, real estate mogul whose business is worth $5 billion.
